We are based in Mumbai, India

At Tanjore, we work exclusively with full-grain Nappa leather—renowned for its durability, softness, and timeless character. Over time, it develops a unique patina that tells the story of how you’ve used it, making each piece truly personal. It’s the perfect material for wallets and small carry goods that are designed to go the distance.

Despite exploring countless alternatives, we’ve yet to find another material that offers the same balance of longevity, feel, and environmental responsibility. Many synthetic or vegan options fall short, either in durability or environmental impact. That’s why we source our leather from Gold-Rated tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), ensuring responsible practices and strict environmental standards from start to finish.
